Base Oil (SOC-4)
Base oil is known as a base for the production of lubricants. The most important volume component of lubricants is base oil. Base oils can be obtained from petroleum or non-petroleum sources. Most of the world’s base oils are obtained from crude oil refining. The main components of base oil are paraffinic, naphthenic and aromatic compounds.
SOC-4 is a paraffinic base oil with very high viscosity index (VHVI). The high quality of this product is the result of using selected feed and additional refining processes. This base oil is used in the production of a wide range of lubricants, including gasoline and diesel engine oils, gears, turbines, hydraulics, compressors and other industrial oils. The low amount of sulfur and the high percentage of saturated compounds and the high viscosity index value of 120 make this oil one of the group III oils according to the API classification. This oil is sold in bulk and in barrel, flexi and IBC packages.

If the temperature of the storage environment does not change suddenly and is kept within the temperature range of 25°C, it helps to maintain the quality of the lubricant.
