Rebar is a profile with a circular cross-section and solid, which most people know as the ribbed metal type that is used in building construction. Normally, the material of the rebar is steel; But you should know that the variety of production of this product is very large and in the industry, all kinds of rebar are produced and used. Rebars can be divided into two categories: plain and grooved. Simple rebars have a completely smooth shape and there are no treads or protrusions on their surface. Such rebars have a very high bending capacity. For this reason, they can be easily bent or cut. Due to this feature, they are mostly used for work that requires bending and twisting. But these rebars are not suitable for use in concrete and especially for heavy projects. Another type of rebar in terms of appearance is ribbed rebars. Unlike the simple type, these rebars have treads on their surface. Treaded rebars are available in several different models in terms of strength and type of treading. Ribbed rebars are specially used in concrete. Because these treads are involved with concrete and eliminate the possibility of rebar sliding inside it. Ribbed rebars usually have more hardness and are used less for bending purposes.
