Virgin olive oil is prepared through a physical or mechanical process on the olive seed after washing the olives. The olive pulp is kneaded and after the oil is removed from the olive fruit pulp, the virgin oil with the best quality is separated from the fruit pulp and water by a centrifuge. No processing is done on it. For this reason, its taste, smell and chemical structure are similar to olive fruit. This type of oil is rich in vitamins A, E and D and is very useful for the digestive system.
Virgin olive oil is not refined. In the preparation of this olive oil, no chemical or thermal process is done. For this reason, it has retained many of the antioxidant properties and useful substances of olive. In fact, the only difference between it and extra virgin olive oil is its oleic acid content. There are 2 grams of oleic acid in 100 grams of virgin olive oil. This oil has a lighter color and a milder taste. Its fragrance and low concentration are youthful. For this reason, it is one of the rarest olive oils.
